Yep, I’m behind again folks, had an all hands on deck thing going on here yesterday followed by me not being in the wood to write anything. I did read some good stuff though so thanks to all of you who kept up.
Pun’s are something I’m rather fond of. I’ve never been terribly good at them for some reason but I like them. Some are better then others of course, the running joke in my house is I’ll make a pun, or what I think may be one and then say “Is that a Dad Joke”. Usually not, but when it is I get High Fives.
While some dad jokes are puns not all puns are Dad jokes. That being said I invite you all to join a Facebook group I’m in. I do this for you… They make me laugh and I start my day with a cup of coffee and some Puns. So click the link and ask to join, cracks me up everyday. Right now we need all the laughter w can get.
"Whatever you do, don´t stop writing, write only for yourself if that´s what you want". It might sound as nothing, but in a time in which I doubted so much about myself, it meant the world for me.

I read a while back that puns were once a highly respected part of English literature. Shakespeare, for example, threw lots of puns into his plays.

My husband is full of Dad Jokes. Puns are universal, though. Once in a while, I have a good one. But that’s usually when I don’t mean to…

Shakespeare loved to play with puns. I loved the pun included in your post. 🙂

I always love a good pun. 🙂 Even when they’re eyeroll-worthy.
