I’m behind, quite a bit behind to be honest. Things happen, in this case it was simply a matter of having no drive to do anything. Took a lot of naps last week.
On that note this belated A to Z post is for the letter “D”, which to me means Dandelions!
So, weeds you say… Well more and more people have decided against that. Dandelions have some fantastic properties. They are pretty and bright making a lawn more festive. Those of us with sand for topsoil (well a lot of sand) are happy they are green on the bottoms (laugh). Bee’s LOVE them, happy little bee’s bumbling along from flower to flower. To me the Bumble Bee’s attraction to the Dandelions proves they are flowers. Bumble’s are super smart!
Other uses, I have read you can make Tea… Also it is used medicinally by some. PLUS… Eventually you get to make a WISH! Just blow the seed pod and watch them float away taking your wishes out into the world. If you wish for more Dandelions this method will get you guaranteed results.
If that isn’t enough picture this

I’m now 3 days behind… I’m going to make it though. That’s just on writing. Reading, well from now until I go to work and commenting too :).

Right, shame on them. My wife let me put them in a planter 🙂
