Start from the beginning… starting anywhere else is dumb.

You know what I’m talking about right? In our very crazy and stress filled day to day, ok your day to day I have no stress. Anyway, when you try to start things from the middle or the very end, they don’t work out to well do they. Nope, sure don’t. It can be compared to attempting to have a meal without buying food. You end up with nothing on the plate.

More examples may be needed i guess, to get the point across i suppose. How about this, how many campers are there in the audience? I don’t mean camping in a trailer either. I mean people who can cook over a fire and pitch a tent. You camper folks will get this easily, same for those of you with a fireplace, ready? Try lighting the fire from on top. Doesn’t work does it, it may burn for a minute or two but then… POOF, no more fire. Sad isn’t it, I think so too. I’m a huge fan of fire.

Now that we have some nice examples. Why is it that people constantly want to skip right to the end with life. People always want to go around the steps they need to in order to get where they want to. Don’t believe me? Yes you do I know it, you always believe me, or do when I’m done writing anyway. Lets start with food, Microwave food. EWWWWW. That’s gross we eat it though, but anytime we have a choice for home cooked or microwave we always go with the home cooked don’t we. However, we will microwave everything ourselves rather than buy actual ingredients, prep them and then cook… l with pots and pans or in a stove for that matter. We wonder why we are all a buncha fatties.

It is a pretty cool microwave though.

What about money, we all love the money.  Lotto… oh yes we love to play Lotto. Don’t get me wrong I play on occasion too, maybe twice a year every decade or so… 🙂 Still though we play, I know people who drop $50 bucks on lotto and then whine that they don’t have any money for gas. We want money, but we don’t want to work. Have you seen those people at the local convenience store, you know the store you get your lotto tickets in. They want money, and they will be a bust their asses to get it. I’m pretty open-minded and I wouldn’t want to do what they do for work.

Better yet are the people who just want to get married. Take your pick on how they can do it. When I was in the Military quite a few people came home with brides from Korea. They seemed happy, and I got some yummy Kimchee. It worked out for the women, and I guess from a certain point of view it worked out for the Men too. Although the men were usually pretty homely. Same goes with Mail-Order Brides… guess its Internet Order now… To lazy to find a date, start a relationship and get to know someone… just do a search, pick your Bride and pay to have her shipped. Hopefully, they put air holes the crate.

Of course, these are meant to be funny and at the same time make a point. Do what you need to  get where you want to there are no short cuts, no magic wand, no Djinn. Nothing but the process to get you there… just accept it. There are no wishes, three or otherwise.
